The goal was to advertise this event through vibrant visuals that represented the city and its community.
ROLE:
Concept, art direction, illustration and design.
My favorite part: creating my own custom typeface, "Meme Hand."
SOLUTION:
I was living in Cuyahoga Falls at the time of this event, so I was very passionate about this project. I started by going to the downtown area, taking photos and sketching the historic buildings. Because the architecture is so recognizable, I chose to take the campaign design in this direction. I created bright and playful illustrations depicting the event location full of life and color — a sneak peek of what the block would become.
